24K Gold Hand Carved Tibet Buddha Statue
The Tibet Buddha Statue was traditionally hand-carved using the traditional Himalayan art style at our workshop in Nepal. We have expertly painted with acrylic paint after completing the molding with a copper body. Furthermore, we have gilded the deity with 24k real gold. The god is shown in a contemplative pose while seated on a moon disc lotus and has a serene countenance. He does the earth-touching mudra with his right hand, representing his gained Enlightenment while holding an alms bowl in his left hand. The face is illuminated by the nimbus set up behind the statue. It is artistically hand-carved and adorned with precious gemstones. The design patterns on the robe and the gemstones on both robe and nimbus are the main highlights of this artwork that took us months and months of hard work to complete.

Siddhartha Gautama was born as the crown prince of the mighty Shakya Kingdom and nurtured to be a king in line with his royal father's aspirations. However, when he was around 29 years old, he learned about people's tremendous pain. He abandoned his palace life and gave up his magnificent robes and gold to uncover the reasons for this anguish and the methods to alleviate it. After nearly six years of study, self-deprivation, and severe concentration, he achieved his aim. He had attained enlightenment (a Buddha). He claimed to have then proceeded to a deer park in Sarnath (Benares), India, on the outskirts of Varanasi.
