Handcarved Tibetan Guru Padmasambhava | The Sacred Master of Vajrayana Buddhism
This magnificent Tibetan Guru Padmasambhava statue stands 15 inches (38 cm) tall, with a base width of 9.3 inches (23.5 cm), and weighs 4.98 kg. The statue is handcrafted from copper and gilded in 24K gold, with brilliant gold and acrylic paintings accented by hand-carved gemstones.
Padmasambhava is seated on a lotus throne, holding a vajra in his right hand and a skull cup carrying the nectar of wisdom immortality in his left hand. A "khatvanga" (sacred trident) with three severed heads leans on his left shoulder, symbolizing freedom from the three principal causes of misery (kayas). His robes are wonderfully molded with exquisite decors, and his unique cap is topped with an eagle feather on top.
