Traditionally Hand Carved Tibetan Vajrasattva Statue
We have traditionally hand-carved the Tibetan statue of Vajrasattva in the traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal. We are the artist of Kathmandu valley whose artisan has passed from generation to generation, reflecting Buddhism. The crown and other ornaments are mesmerizing, exquisitely turquoise with valuable corals. You can also use this sculpture in many Buddhist traditions and in your daily meditation activities. We have depicted a deity sitting atop a moon disc lotus seat with meditating expression, holding a vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left hand.

Vajrasatva is typically regarded as the second patriarch in the Shingon Buddhist lineage, the first being Vairocana Buddha. According to Kukai's writings in Record of the Dharma Transmission, Nagarjuna encountered Vajrasatva in an iron tower in southern India, based on Amoghavajra's testimony. As recounted in the Mahavairocana Sutra, Vajrasatva inducted Nagarjuna into the abhiseka ceremony and entrusted him with the esoteric teachings he had gained from Vairocana Buddha. Kukai doesn't go into detail on Vajrasatva or his beginnings.
