Hand-Carved Vajrapani Bodhisattva Sculpture for Meditation and Ritual
This beautifully crafted piece of Vajrapani bodhisattva statue employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio. Hand-carved from a copper body and gilded with 24k genuine gold, which highlights the intricate design patterns of the statue. Vajrapani is depicted in the statue as standing on a sun disc lotus with flames encircling him, representing his ability to overcome negativity. On his right hand, he wields a vajra, while on his left, he clutches a noose, signifying the capacity to tie and capture obstacles and the indestructible, diamond-like aspect of enlightenment. The statue is full of intricate patterns and motifs that our artists carved out for more than a year.

Vajrapani, holding a Diamond Scepter, is the manifestation of all of the Buddhas' boundless power and the first meditational deity in this series to be depicted in a wrathful form. He is standing, adorned in a tiger silk cloth and donning a deep blue color. His hands are in a menacing mudra, which is used to overcome obstacles, and his right hand is holding a vajra, which represents the enlightened force of full spiritual awakening. He has a third eye of wisdom on his forehead, and flames of wisdom energy emanate from all of his mighty body's pores. The name, Vajrapani refers to the wielder of the Vajra, which represents the power of total enlightenment.
