Himalayan Hand-Carved Wrathful Vajrapani Buddha Sculpture
The Vajrapani Buddha Sculpture was traditionally hand-crafted by the master craftsmen of Nepal with intricate design patterns exclusive to our studio. The figure was carved using a copper body, gilded with 24k genuine gold and finely painted with acrylic paint. The deity is depicted standing over a moon disc lotus in a dancer-like posture as a nimbus cloud illuminates the deity from behind. His uplifted right arm is holding a vajra, and his left is holding a lasso. He is displayed in a tight, wrathful pose. He wears a serpent necklace and a skull crown. The silver-plated finish further highlights the detail patterns of the deity. This statue can be used for several Buddhist rites as well as regular meditation exercises.

Vajrapani, known as “chag na dor je” in Tibetan, is one of the earliest deities of Mahayana Buddhism. He represents the power of all Buddhas. With the opening of the third eye, he looks ferocious. He is a Bodhisattva who represents the enlightened mind's energy, and his mantra reflects that characteristic. The dancing within the halo flames represents transformation. The holding of Vajra stands for power that cuts through the delusion’s darkness, and the lasso is to bind demons.
