Traditional Art of Vajrasatttva Sculpture Dorje Sempa
We, the modern descendent of century-old Buddhist Himalayan art of sculpting sacred statues have beautifully hand-carved the Vajrasatttva Sculpture Dorje Sempa in our studio. The deity is depicted seated on the top of a moon disc lotus seat having a serene facial expression. He is holding a vajra with his right hand and a bell in his left. The body is molded using copper and then glided with 24K pure gold. One can use this art in different Vajrayana practices and in regular meditational activities. It took us months of hard work to mold the copper body, gliding with 24K gold and adorning with precious corals and gems. This statue would be a perfect shrine for your meditation practice as a gift from Nepal.

Dorje Gyan, or "Vajra Ornament," is the Vajrasattva root tantra in Tibetan Buddhism. Vajrasattva practices are used in Tibetan Buddhism to clear obscurations so that Vajrayana students can progress beyond Ngondro practices to the various tantric yoga practices, as well as to clear any broken samaya vows after initiation. As a result, Vajrasattva practice is a necessary component of Tibetan Buddhist practice.
