Handmade Buddhist Deity, Vajrasattva Statue
We hand-carved the statue of Vajrasattva in traditional Himalayan Art in our studio. Our artisans are the modern descendent of sacred Buddhist sculpture-making art. We adhere to the Buddhist iconography while sculpting the statue to ensure all our deities are represented correctly. He holds a vajra in his right hand and a bell in his left. The bell represents wisdom, whereas the vajra represents compassion. He sits peacefully, legs crossed, atop a lotus seat on a moon disc. The lotus seat means how he remained in this impure cycle of samsara to benefit sentient beings while remaining unaffected by its flaws.

Vajrasattva's enlightened aspirations are unlike those of previous buddhas because of the power of his prayers. He embodies the hundred buddha families, the five buddha families, and so on in his nature. He is unlike any other deity because he is the all-pervading lord of the hundred buddha families and the solitary buddha family of the great secret.
