Hand-Carved Great Black One, White Mahakala Statue
This exquisite piece of white Mahakala statue employs traditional Himalayan motifs and designs delicately produced in our studio. The statue's copper body was gilded with genuine 24K gold giving its final shine. The deity stands atop a moon disc lotus seat bearing three pairs of arms, each holding an item characteristic of his iconography, as a fiery nimbus surrounds the deity's body. He can be seen holding a vajra, a vajra-handled knife, a trident, and a skull cup filled with blood. This all represents his association with purity, wisdom, and compassion. The deity's wrathful facial expression is highlighted with acrylic paints.
It is a perfect souvenir for any devotee like yourself, can be used for Buddhist rituals, and is an excellent addition to your Altar.

Mahakala is the guardian god of Mahayana Buddhism and all Tibetan Buddhist schools. He represents various ways, each with its features and characteristics. In some circumstances, he is seen as the emanation of distinct beings, such as Avalokitesvara or Chakrasamvara. The five kleshas (adverse ailments) are transmuted into the five pearls of wisdom, and Mahakala is generally typically represented with a crown of five skulls.
