Hand-Carved Female Buddha Statue White Tara
The White Tara is also known as Jetsun Dölma. She appears as a female Buddha in both Mahayana and Vajrayana Buddhism. This beautiful statue of Female Buddha White Tara is handmade in our studio in traditional Himalayan Art of Nepal with the skill passed down to us for generations. The deity sits atop a moon disc lotus with a peaceful and serene expression holding an utpala in her left hand while her right hand is rested upon her right knee. The statue is decorated with multiple ornaments and a crown embedded in precious jewels. We used genuine 24k gold to paint the face of the deity and acrylic paintings for the statue's body, and silver paintings to highlight the statue's ornaments and garments.

White Tara (also known as Dolma) a Female Buddha in the Buddhist tradition. White Tara appears as a female bodhisattva and goddess to benefit every living being. According to mythology, she was created from Avalokiteshvara's tear, which dropped to the earth and formed a lake. A lotus arose from its waters, which, when opened, showed the goddess. She, like Avalokiteshvara, is a kind, calming divinity who assists men in their quest to "cross to the other.
